Busker Tour, a travelling festival featuring international street performers, returns to Zielona Góra on 23 and 24 August 2026. As always, with a brand-new line-up and talents from around the world!
Testing the limits of the human body with contortions, acrobatics and props
This year, the Busker Tour’s performers will test the limits of their own bodies, presenting contortions and acrobatic stunts on the ground, on a bike and from a Chinese pole.
There will be plenty of circus shows with props such as hula hoops, diabolo, the Cyr wheel, and many more.
Buskers constantly work on their shows to surprise the audience. Even if you are with us every year, you have the chance to see new original props and how performers use them. Did you know that you can manipulate a diabolo without sticks?
The musical acts will also be diverse, with oriental instruments and live looping.
International talents for the first time in Poland
The Busker Tour festival is distinguished by its original programme, curated by Małgorzata Węglarz (Busker.pl), the artistic director. Every year, she invites buskers who regularly travel across continents, following the summer, as well as those who typically perform locally at their home pitches.
In the past, most of the applications came from South America. However, in recent years, the festival has gained recognition among street performers from Far Eastern countries. This year’s edition can be called the most Asian in history, with a large representation of artists from Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. The pedestrian street in Zielona Góra will also be a stage for artists from other countries such as Australia, the Netherlands, and Germany, to name a few. Most of them will come to Poland for the first time.

About Busker Tour
Busker Tour is a street festival organised in various cities across Poland. The programme changes every year and includes interdisciplinary performing and circus arts. The selected street shows are a dynamic blend of styles, cultures, and artistic genres.
Every street performance is different. What sets buskers apart are not only various circus props, musical instruments, and costumes, but also charisma, ideas, and ways of engaging the audience. They are just as important in street shows as technical skills. The script is a point of reference rather than a strict scenario. Even a show by the same artist can unfold differently every time.
True to its name, Busker Tour is a celebration of performers who often keep everything they need to present their show in one suitcase. When they open it next to a sign with the festival logo, unroll a rope or mark a waterline, a selected part of the street becomes their stage, and passers-by who stop become their audience. It’s showtime! Admission is free, but if you have a good time, you can drop money into the hat buskers pass at the end of the show.
Busker Tour is a recognised brand within the international circus and street artist community. For many buskers who are now regulars at the street festivals around the world, Busker Tour was their festival debut.
Admission
Admission to all events is free. However, in keeping with the tradition of street performances, if you enjoy the show, please contribute to the artists’ hats.

The event is hosted by Zielonogórski Ośrodek Kultury and Małgorzata Węglarz (Busker.pl), the festival’s artistic director.

Schedule, pitches and what to bring with you.
- The show schedule will be published on our website Busker.pl and social media during the festival. Printed leaflets will be available at the info point.
- Street shows involve interaction with the audience, and there is room for improvisation. Not every artist can also perform in the rain. For these reasons, pitches and hours can change. Plan a day off and enjoy the adventure!
- Locations are marked with a sign featuring the festival logo and the street stage number. We may move them around, especially if there is some shade on the other side of the street.
- There are no stages at the Busker Tour festival. Artists will mark out the space they want to turn into their stage using gestures, rope, or water. If you arrive early, take any spot you like, and the performers will let you know if you are too close or too far away.
- Bring a picnic mat or a blanket to watch the shows comfortably.
- Please remember to bring a raincoat, hat, sunscreen, and water. There are many shows every year, and we would love for you to see them all!
- Let’s look after each other! Sometimes a small gesture can mean the world to another person. If you see anyone shorter than you, let them go in front. If you are in the first row, have a seat on the ground so more people can enjoy the performance.
- Artists perform acrobatics, throw knives, and juggle various objects. For safety reasons, do not cross their designated area unless they invite you onto their street stage.
- If you are taking photos or recording videos, please remember not to block others and not to disrupt the performers.
