Busker Tour Festival

Busker Tour is a travelling street festival and a series of events featuring buskers (street performers), who transform any square into a stage and passer-by into an audience.

This festival is known for its international line-up, openness to various art forms, and unique and carefully curated line-up featuring buskers.

The program changes annually and includes interdisciplinary performing arts (theatre, dance, music) and circus acts.

The goal of a street artist is to provide entertainment, evoke emotions, and showcase their talents, ideas, skills, and unique personalities. There are no entry tickets; instead, buskers encourage viewers to tip after the performance.

New Circus, Theatre, Live Music and Dance

Drawing on street theatre traditions, buskers use tools like illusion effects, clowning, dance, music, acrobatics, circus props, and other well-known and unexpected disciplines and techniques.

Some perform mainly locally, while others travel across continents, pursuing the summer. At the Busker Tour festival, they take audiences on a journey around the world, making every location feel like Sunday afternoon in Mauerpark in Berlin, on the Southbank Promenade in Melbourne, or in Parque Urquiza in Rosario, Argentina—renowned street performance spots.

Balls and clubs flying through the air, acrobats perched on masts, illusionists testing our perception, and original songs filling every corner. Unicyclists, Cyr wheel artists, free ladder balancers, and rolla bolla performers entertain. Dancers cross streets, hand walkers move gracefully, and aerial somersaults amaze—all brought to life by talented performers. That’s how the cities transform during the Busker Tour Festivals.
