Busker Tour 2024 – a travelling festival that showcases the richness of street art in its international and diverse forms returns to Krotoszyn!
The program changes annually and includes interdisciplinary performing arts (theatre, dance, music) and circus acts. During this combined tour, street artists will perform in Krotoszyn (24th-25th August), Zielona Góra (27th-28th August) and Wrocław (30th August-01st Sep, 2024).
Busker Tour offers a blend of styles, cultures, and art forms.
Buskers will present a mix of surprising and unconventional circus acts alongside popular routines, demonstrating feats like juggling with their feet, and juggling while playing drums with flaming sticks. The festival will feature, among many others, archery, contortion, unicycling, acrobatics, and concerts with original music. From playful Latin clowning and poetic storytelling to energetic Arab rhythms, the Busker Tour offers a blend of styles, cultures, art forms, and disciplines.
The Busker Tour is a truly international festival, with this year’s performers hailing from numerous countries across five continents. Most of them will be visiting Poland for the first time, at the invitation of Małgorzata Węglarz, the festival’s artistic director. The lineup includes artists from Taiwan, New Zealand, Japan, Canada, Chile, Egypt, Australia, Poland, Bulgaria, Austria, Mexico, and, traditionally, Argentina.
